April Re-cap

So much has happened over this month! What about for you? Here is a re-cap of the highlights from this month.

Launching a podcast. Divination, spirituality, and social work are some of my favorite topics to talk about. Naturally, the best thing to do is to start a podcast! My friend and I are launching the Reclaiming Soul Work Podcast, and we are so excited. We look forward to building the community and being a resource for other spiritual practitioners.

We thought it would be fun to host a weekly launch party, starting on 4.13, leading up to the launch. You still have time to catch the last one on Wednesday, May 4th. Our first IG live is linked here, definitely check it out.

Subscribe to our YouTube channel, we launch on May 9th!

Yoga Nidra Immersion. Immersion with the Satya Yoga Co-Op started on April 19th.

Janelle Monae’@The Harris Theater. Chile, on 4.22, Janelle was in town for the release of the collaborative project “The Memory Librarian.” I have quite a few amazing clips from that night, but here is a snippet of the explanation behind the short story, and a challenge from Janelle.

Earth Day. 4.22 marked Earth Day 2022. I posted a video about the Sequoia National Park, forest fires, and why I follow what is happening to them in California. You can view the video below.

Artist in Residence Artist Talk. I share a bit more about my residency at the beginning of the month. In short, over the course of April, my work and creative journey have been highlighted on the Anchorage Museum’s website and IG page. On 4.27, I had my artist talk and it was amazing.

One of the major take-aways was it’s safe for me to be myself. My story matters. You can check out the talk in its entirety below.
