Black August Listening Sessions

RLM partnered with The Yarn Mission during the month of August to highlight two queer community members, their contributions to political education, and art making.

CheyOnna, of The Yarn Mission drafted an amazing listening guide. This includes links to the playlist, reflection questions, and additional steps to inform your politics.

Even though we missed you during our live session, you can catch the playback! This space is meant to encourage your thoughts on around Black queer feminist politics (ie identity politics, principled struggle, the influence of the Combahee River Collective Statement, etc) and the radical foundation of collective art making.

Unapologetic A Black Queer and Feminist Mandate for Radical Movements

Check out the playback below!

We have one more session for the month. Turn on a reminder via facebook to be notified of the session on Sunday, August 21st, where we uplift our community mother, Miss Major!
